In a continued strive for better customer service AccessBank Tanzania has progressively improved its services. One of our flagship product “AccessMobile” is a mobile phone banking platform that links a customer’s bank account to his/her mobile phone.
We have upgraded our services which will enable AccessMobile users to make various payments. Our customers can now pay their taxes via AccessMobile or transfer their money from their AccessBank accounts via AccessMobile to make various payments for products and services (e.g. purchases at supermarkets, shops, restaurants or if it’s just to go watch a football game at the National Stadium).
AccessMobile in partnership with Selcom our customers can make payments at any place that accepts or is a SelcomPay point. In addition to these services, our AccessMobile customers can also pay for other utilities like Precision Air plane tickets, StarTimes Subscription, NHC rent, TANESCO Postpaid bills, PPF and PSPF contributions, furthermore, customers can top up mobile phone credit, transfer money to Mpesa, Tigo pesa, Airtel Money, Halopesa, EzyPesa or just simply transfer from account to account within the bank and many more other great services. All these great services at the fingertips of your mobile phone.
AccessBank’s main vision with AccessMobile, is to simplify the way of life through technology and ensure financial services are available in the simplest and quickest way for all Tanzanians. “Imagine walking into a store then purchasing what you want (food, clothing, groceries etc.) then as you go to pay at the cashier “you pay with AccessMobile” once the transaction is complete the cashier’s printer will print your receipt automatically. Think about it; with such technology, AccessMobile customers can now make payments at all Selcom-Pay/Masterpass QR merchants such as; Puma Petrol Stations, Pizza Hut, GSM Malls, Discount Centre, KFC, Village Supermarket, Shrijee Supermarket, Shoppers Supermarket, Danube Home, Rhapsody’s, Didi’s Pub, Imalaseko and many other merchant locations across Tanzania.” This is just the beginning and we hope to be adding many more services which are aimed at solving financial challenges and limit the movement of cash for all Tanzanians.”
It’s been nearly three years since the introduction of AccessMobile which has also seen a substantial growth in customer usage, and more customers have opened accounts in order to join and enjoy free our mobile banking services. AccessMobile continues to be a great savior for our customers particularly in terms of banking 24 hours a day, for all our customers enrolled with this service can perform many and various transactions.
